SEOUL, Dec. 17 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics has unveiled its latest innovation in the form of smart monitors designed to offer a versatile and seamless user experience, covering a range of activities from streaming online video services (OTT) to facilitating home office tasks without the need for a PC connection.
Introducing the LG MyView brand, these smart monitors redefine the concept of a ‘smart life screen,’ providing users with a personalized space to enjoy a variety of activities. Equipped with LG’s proprietary software platform, webOS, the brand debuts with the launch of two new smart monitors, namely the 32SR70U and 32SR83U models.
Boasting a 32-inch 4K (3840×2160) resolution IPS display, both models deliver exceptional visual quality by meeting 95% of the Digital Cinema Institute’s (DCI) color gamut, DCI-P3, ensuring vivid and accurate colors.
Powered by webOS, users can effortlessly access LG channels, domestic and international OTT services, as well as specialized content such as home fitness and educational programs—all without the need for a PC connection. Additionally, users can remotely connect to a cloud PC for tasks like working on documents in MS Office or checking schedules in Google Calendar.
Enhancing connectivity, the smart monitors support Airplay 2 and Miracast, enabling seamless screen sharing with iOS and Android OS devices.
Furthermore, the LG MyView monitors serve as a practical smart home hub. Users can connect to Bluetooth earphones, headsets, and other devices, allowing for an immersive music experience or providing the convenience of monitoring home appliances through the LG ThinQ app. This holistic approach caters to a wide array of user needs, making LG MyView an integral part of modern smart living.
