SEOUL, Nov. 17 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics announced November 17 the launch of its 2024 LG PuriCare Object Collection Hydro Tower, a premium water purifying humidifier featuring significant upgrades based on consumer feedback.
The new model doubles the water tank capacity of its predecessor, addressing a key user demand identified through the company’s consumer behavior research.
The study revealed that customers predominantly use the “humidification and purification mode” and desire extended periods of uninterrupted humidification.
“As the weather gets cooler, we’re seeing increased demand for the Hydro Tower,” an LG Electronics representative said. “Through continuous research and development, we’re focused on delivering products that improve user convenience.”
The upgraded model features a 4.5-liter water tank, significantly larger than the previous 2.5-liter version, extending continuous humidification time to up to 18 hours.
The device, first introduced late last year, employs a sophisticated three-stage purification process: water filtration, high-temperature sterilization at 100 degrees Celsius, and air purification.
The Hydro Tower can disperse up to 700cc of moisture particles per hour to quickly achieve desired humidity levels. It also includes automatic drying for hygiene maintenance and air purification capabilities, positioning it as a comprehensive air quality solution for the home.
