SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Motorola Korea has introduced the Moto g56 5G, a rugged smartphone designed to withstand extreme conditions, available exclusively through KT stores and its online shop starting August 14. The device is priced at 330,000 won ($250).
The Moto g56 5G is certified to the U.S. Department of Defense’s MIL-STD-810H military standard, offering heat and impact resistance along with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection.
Its front features scratch- and shock-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the rear is finished with vegan leather to improve grip.
Equipped with a 6.7-inch display, the phone supports a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of brightness. It comes with a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. Two color options are available — Pantone Black Oyster and Pantone Gray Mist.
Motorola Korea said the launch marks the beginning of a product line that will continue to deliver smartphones with military-grade durability.
