SEOUL, July 19 (Korea Bizwire) – Even if you are a good-hearted who believes there are many people out there in this world who are less fortunate and in desperate need of help, it is often hard for you to put the idea into action. Making donations for good causes may often be a burden and the busy everyday life may make you forget about the predicament other people are in.
Well, here is a smartphone application that will easily make you a benefactor and gives you points to store and use at the same time, just by watching short video clips.
Nanum TV (nanum meaning “sharing” in Korean) is a new-concept charity app, which makes donation on behalf of the user automatically when the user just watches a charity campaign video.
In addition to providing a convenient way to charity funding, the app will also grant you points proportional to the amount donated, which can be accumulated and later be used to donate or switch them to gift coupons for buying various goods.
When opened up, the application will show on its main screen short clips of videos on charity campaigns that are under way, and all you need to do is hit the play button to support the campaign.
At the bottom of the video footage, short descriptions and pictures of the recipients are given, and if you want to make a separate donation for them, you can just touch the “support direct” button and give whatever amount of donation directly.
You can also share the campaign on social network sites such as Facebook and KakaoTalk by clicking on the “share” button.
The top-left corner of the main page is a list button which comes with links to sub-menus such as Nanum Store and Nanum On Air. Nanum Store is a mobile shopping mall page, where various categories of products including coupons for cafés, vouchers and beauty products are available with your accumulated points from the donations.
“Nanum On Air” is a mobile TV, which provides 24-hour free-of-charge viewing of Korea’s main Internet telecasting channels.
This unique philanthropic application where you can make donations and earn points at the same time by watching sharing campaign videos is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for free.
