SEOUL, Oct. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics unveiled its new smartphone called AKA (Also Known As) at the World IT Show 2014 held in BEXCO Exhibition Center in Busan from October 20. The new gadget is planned to be released in the local market within next month.
Its feature is to reflect the customer’s personality and character rather than focusing on high performances and useful functions, providing the user with a sense of unity with his or her gizmo.
A total of four types of the device are displayed in the show, each of which represents different types of persona. Eyes looking at the user at the top of the front screen change their shapes depending on what functions such as music listening and alarm the user uses with the phone.

The owner can choose one of four front cover colors and replace it with another color to show his or her own personality.
“Unlike existing smartphones, the new release will be a spokesperson of you. With the novel device, we are going to lead the market,” said an official of the Seoul-based electronics manufacturer.
