SEOUL, May 21, 2025 (Korea Bizwire) CJ Olive Young, South Korea’s leading beauty and health retailer, kicked off the 2025 Olive Young Festa on Wednesday, launching the country’s largest hands-on beauty and wellness festival. The event runs through May 25 on Seoul’s scenic Nodeul Island.

Originally launched in 2019, Olive Young Festa is designed as an interactive platform for brands and consumers to explore emerging trends in beauty and health. This year’s event marks a significant expansion, moving beyond the company’s annual “Olive Young Awards” winners to spotlight new and rising brands.

Spanning an outdoor venue of approximately 3,500 pyeong (about 115,000 square feet), this year’s edition is the largest to date. The festival is organized into five themed zones—Skincare, Makeup, Personal Care, Healthy Life, and Luxe Edit—featuring 84 booths and 108 participating brands.

Trend-focused sections highlight fast-growing sectors such as anti-aging, high-performance beauty, scalp and hair-loss care, and “inner beauty” supplements, reflecting evolving consumer demands.

Embracing a “Treasure Island” concept, the festival space encourages an exploratory experience where attendees engage in brand discovery through immersive installations in a natural, open-air environment.

The event also offers a lineup of interactive programs and industry networking. Daily “Beauty & Health Deep Dive” sessions allow consumers to hear directly from brand representatives through product demos and trend talks. Notable highlights include a skincare talk show hosted by Dr.G for sensitive skin users and a soap demonstration by cleansing brand Arencia.

Beyond public-facing events, Olive Young has positioned the festival as a key platform for advancing the K-beauty industry’s global ambitions. The “Future Connect” program brings together over 200 domestic brand representatives for lectures on export customs, international regulatory compliance, and global trend forecasting.

More than 400 buyers and executives from major retail channels in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia have also been invited to the festival to foster international partnerships and spotlight the competitiveness of Korean beauty brands.

“Olive Young Festa has grown into a signature event that not only delivers cutting-edge beauty experiences for consumers, but also meaningful growth opportunities for participating brands,” a company representative said. “Going forward, we aim to strengthen our role as an industry platform connecting the domestic and global beauty markets.”
