NAJU, Feb. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — A new industrial complex for agriculture production systems will be established in Naju, South Jeolla Province, to prepare for a new generation of smart farming technologies.
The Korea Rural Community Corp. (KRCC) signed a memorandum of understanding with Jeonnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services and Chonnam National University (CNU) on Wednesday to jointly establish the new complex.
The complex will include unmanned nurseries, autonomous farming vehicles, and facilities that manage cutting-edge agricultural machinery.
The KRCC will be in charge of designing and establishing the complex, and the provincial government will be responsible for the management of the complex. CNU will oversee the development of a unified control system.
