SEOUL, Feb. 24 (Korea Bizwire) – South Korean tech companies are increasingly incorporating ChatGPT into other services.
Healthcare platform Gooddoc released a ChatGPT-based health artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot service on Tuesday.
The new service utilizes ChatGPT to respond to questions related to health and medical procedures within just one second, enhancing utility.
Software education startup Team Sparta introduced ChatGPT as its consultation platform for online coding classes.
Students can copy and paste faulty code onto the platform, which will utilize ChatGPT to locate the source of the error within seconds.
Large conglomerates, too, are introducing ChatGPT to their commercial services.
SK Telecom Co., South Korea’s No. 1 wireless carrier, introduced ChatGPT to its AI chatbot Adot released in May of last year. The chatbot will officially launch this year.
Samsung SDS Co., an IT service unit of Samsung Group, introduced ChatGPT to its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) system to expedite repetitive tasks.
AI experts believe that ChatGPT will help companies reduce operating costs. They also advised that the companies use ChatGPT as no more than a tool for work assistance.
“ChatGPT can save time and money,” said Jung Seung-ik, an electronics engineering professor at Seoul Cyber University.
“However, we shouldn’t rely too much on ChatGPT. It should be regarded as one of the many means of acquiring information or completing tasks, always accompanied by a human perspective.”
