BUSAN, May 5 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s largest annual market for broadcasting content will open Wednesday for foreign buyers and investors.
The 13th Busan Contents Market (BCM) will be held from Wednesday to Saturday at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) in the southern port city of Busan, organizers said.
Some 1,100 companies from 50 countries around the world will set up about 280 booths to exhibit their TV dramas, films, documentaries and animations.
Organizers expect the event will draw about 3,000 participants this year.
In addition to business transactions, there will be global pitching events where small production companies can introduce their content to television networks and investors, as well as showcases of new TV dramas to be attended by their lead stars at the 13th BCM.
