SEOUL, Sept. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Display Co., a major display panel maker in South Korea, is visiting university campuses across the country using trucks loaded with next-generation foldable products.
To attract distinguished university students, the company is hosting recruitment roadshows on a rotation basis at eight universities across the country.
The company’s Display Day event, consisting of product displays and recruitment consultation, started on Sept. 1.
For this event, which is scheduled to run until Sept. 14, the company transformed a 5-ton truck into a showcase stage to display QD-OLED and next-generation multi-foldable products such as the Flex S, Flex G, and Flex Gaming.
Samsung Display executives are visiting universities to brief students about future technology that requires active R&D efforts, including foldable OLEDs and microdisplays.
Ahead of the second half period of recruitment of new employees, Samsung Display is also hosting company information sessions and recruitment consultations at 25 universities across the country.
