SEOUL, Sept. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. said Wednesday it had installed its The Terrace outdoor TV at Postojna Cave, a major tourist attractions in Slovenia.
Postojna Cave is famous as the habitat of olms, a kind of salamander often referred as ‘baby dragons.’
Samsung displayed the habitat space of olms taken by a special camera through the lifestyle TV to enable visitors to watch their movement and habitat more closely.
The Terrace offers a QLED 4K display and meets the waterproof and dustproof class IP55 standards.
It can maintain superior image quality and durability, even the 95 percent humidity and temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees Celsius that are common in Postojna Cave.
Moreover, the display features an artificial intelligence (AI) image quality optimization function that adjusts screen brightness automatically depending on external illumination intensity and an anti-glare function that reduces the amount of light reflecting on the screen.
