SEOUL, Nov. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics announced the release of its Galaxy A16 LTE smartphone in South Korea on November 29, targeting budget-conscious consumers with robust features at an affordable price.
The Galaxy A16 LTE boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera, a 13MP front camera, and a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery. It also offers water and dust resistance with an IP54 rating and supports Samsung Wallet for seamless online and offline payments, public transit access, and digital ID functions.
Available in black, gray, and light green, the smartphone is priced at 319,000 won ($240). Customers can choose between carrier-specific models or an unlocked version. Samsung has committed to six operating system updates and six years of security patches for the device.
The Galaxy A16 LTE aims to combine functionality and affordability, appealing to users seeking high-value smartphones without premium price tags.
