SEOUL, Jan. 26 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics said Sunday that its latest television model, The Frame Pro, has received an Innovation Award from CNN Underscored, the U.S. broadcaster’s product review platform, adding to the company’s growing recognition in the premium display market.
CNN Underscored, which evaluates products through expert analysis and real-world testing across categories such as home appliances, beauty and travel, praised The Frame Pro for redefining the concept of an art television.
The outlet described the model as the first art TV to truly achieve “gallery-like minimalism,” citing its combination of high-end picture quality and frame-style design that allows the screen to function as both a television and an artwork display.
Particular attention was given to Samsung’s wireless One Connect Box, which transmits video and audio signals without physical cables. The system requires only a power connection to the display, enabling what CNN Underscored called a “floating” aesthetic free of visible wiring or bulky components.
The review platform also highlighted improvements in brightness and contrast, noting that the enhanced image quality delivers stable performance not only for displaying artwork but also for watching television and films.
Samsung unveiled its expanded Frame lineup earlier this month at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the world’s largest consumer electronics show. Several U.S. media outlets have since singled out the series for praise.
Business Insider named the 98-inch Frame one of the most anticipated display trends of 2026, while tech review sites including Gadget Match, Residential Systems and Gizmodo selected the model among the show’s best products.
The accolades underscore Samsung’s push to blur the line between home entertainment and interior design, as competition intensifies in the global premium TV market.
