SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced Thursday that it will add more elevators to bridges crossing the Han River for the convenience of visitors to Han River parks.
Many bicycle riders and pedestrians come to parks via the bridges that span the Han River.
Some bridges, however, haven’t been connected to parks, shutting off visitors from access.
The city government decided to install elevators at 18 locations on 13 bridges by 2026.
The other 10 remaining bridges either have elevators in place or cannot accommodate elevators.
