SEOUL, May 24 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Tuesday it will introduce taxis equipped with dedicated car seats for toddlers aged under 24 months.
These taxis will be in the form of vans and will be equipped with a KC safety-certified car seat, as well as an anti-germ air purifier, hand sanitizer, and anti-droplet screens.
Starting Wednesday, parents with toddlers under 24 months old can utilize the i.M taxi-hailing app to avail themselves of this service.
Additionally, the city will provide a taxi subsidy of 100,000 won (US$76) for each toddler, with the subsidy amount doubling to 200,000 won for twins.
