SEOUL, Aug. 1 (Korea Bizwire) — The “Seoul Light DDP” light show has won a prize at the Red Dot Design Award 2023, one of the three most prestigious design awards in the world, in the “Brand & Communication Design” category, the Seoul Design Foundation said Monday.
Seoul Light DDP, held every winter since 2019, illuminates the undulating facade of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), creating spectacular visual effects.
Thanks to the participation of internationally renowned multimedia artists, it has now become one of the most representative light festivals in the South Korean capital.
This year, the foundation will hold a fall edition of Seoul Light DDP.
The fall edition, under the theme “Digital Nature,” will feature works by French digital artist Miguel Chevalier and the Kia Global Design Center from August 31 to September 10..
