Seoul to Run Han River History Exploration Program

SEOUL, April 19 (Korea Bizwire)The Hangang Project Headquarters of the Seoul metropolitan government said Tuesday it will launch a history exploration program on April 26.

This program aims to provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the Han River. It will be accompanied by a commentator during the journey.

The program, which was first launched in 2012, comprises 14 courses in history and geography. Participants can learn from commentators about the Han River’s historical ferry points and scenic spots.

The program will be available twice daily, in the morning and afternoon, until Nov. 30.

Each journey will be limited to a minimum of three and a maximum of 15 participants.

However, the program will also operate for a single person if the applicant is a foreigner or a disabled person.

Foreigners must request interpretation in advance, and disabled persons must be accompanied by a guardian or assistant.
