SEJONG, Nov. 14 (Korea Bizwire) – November 17 is D-Day for Suneung, Korea’s infamous College Scholastic Ability Test.
Traffic will be controlled, airplanes rerouted, and many employees will go to work an hour or so later than usual to help ease traffic congestion, making sure no students are late for the examination that could have a significant impact on their future. Students can even dial 911 for transport if they feel they won’t make it on time.
Shipments of question and answer sheets began Monday to 85 test regions nationwide, and will be transported to 1,183 test facilities on Thursday morning. A total of 605,988 students will be taking the test this year, according to the Ministry of Education.
