SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — Simmons has announced that its unique part-time job opportunity, the “Karrot Part-Time X Simmons Winter Sleep Job,” has reached an unprecedented application rate of 60,000 to 1.
This distinctive job experience, located at Simmons Terrace in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, offers participants 3 million won for sleeping for one hour on a Simmons bed. The initiative, a collaboration between Simmons and Karrot, a leading local community platform in South Korea, has garnered immense attention.
The selected part-timer will first receive a sleep preference diagnosis from a Simmons sleep expert, then equip various items for their winter sleep, and upon sleeping for approximately an hour, will earn 3 million won in part-time wages.
Simmons and Carrot, having received applications from January 3 to 23, plan to select and individually contact one of the applicants on January 26. The chosen part-timer will perform the given task at the Simmons Terrace Store on February 3.
As an additional incentive, Simmons plans to gift a prize worth 2 million won through a lottery among the job applicants.
