SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Korea Bizwire) — SK C&C Co., an IT service unit of South Korean conglomerate SK Group, said Thursday it had signed a business agreement with Microsoft Korea Co. to launch into the global digital healthcare solution market as well as to expand its industry ecosystem.
Under terms of the agreement, SK C&C’s Medical Insight+ Brain Hemorrhage, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based medical imaging solution for brain hemorrhaging, will be registered in the neuro-radiology area of the U.S. software giant’s Azure for Healthcare cloud platform.
Hospitals that want to use the solution can receive after-sales service after purchasing it through Microsoft Azure marketplace.
SK C&C said it will take advantage of the agreement to enter the global market in collaboration with Microsoft’s worldwide sales organizations.
The company added that in collaboration with Microsoft, it will develop a social value creation model by leveraging digital healthcare technology and business capabilities, aimed at contributing to environmental, social and governance (ESG) management performance.
