SEOUL, Aug. 31 (Korea Bizwire) – The 9th Smart Geospatial Expo kicked off Wednesday at The K-Hotel Seoul, providing yet another opportunity for businesses and governments to experience the future of spatial information technology.
The expo is the largest of its kind in Korea for spatial information technology, and includes exhibitions of smart city, zero-energy building, and smart home technology. Idea contests, meetings, and conferences will also take place.
Some 40 officials from 15 countries, including five ministers in related fields, are taking part in the three-day event, according to the organizing committee.
This year’s expo is hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and was organized by five institutions, including the Korea Land & Geospatial InformatiX Corporation, and the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements.
