SEOUL, Sep. 17 (Korea Bizwire) – Social networking services that have remained as a means of communication are creating whole new business categories. The best-known example is Uber Taxi that can connect those who need to hire a taxi and cars idling in the parking lot.
There is an innovative business model in Korea that takes advantage of the current SNS popularity. Called “SNSQuick,” the service links those who want their package delivered with anyone out there who is willing to do the service for a fee. This is a model case of the sharing economy.
SNSQuick seeks to deliver packages faster than any other incumbent courier service operators at lower cost. In addition, it has resolved the security issue by adopting real-name authentication and authentication through the smartphone. An official with Uninet Soft, the company that developed the SNSQuick app, said, “SNSQuick is a whole new delivery service matching consumers and suppliers.
It is currently patent pending for the service’s system and methodology. We are preparing to offer the service internationally as well.” The international service involves having packages or documents sent overseas through travelers.
In commemoration of the launch of the service, Uninet Soft is currently holding a promotional event for a select number of volunteers who will experience the service in person. The promotion will continue until September 19 and for details visit the service’s website at www.snsquick.com. The SNSQuick app is available on Android Market for free. The iOS version will be available in the near future.
