SEOUL, July 7 (Korea Bizwire) – What if you get a phone call from office while you are away from a summer vacation? According to Help wanted ad provider Findall based on a survey on 588 office workers in their 20s to 60s, 34.4 percent answered to the question by saying “I would get the phone call right away.”

Given other answers such as “I won’t take it right away and call later” (25.3%), “I will take it if it is from my boss or important customer, but I won’t if it’s from a colleague” (14.5%), “I won’t take it and send a text message reminding I am on a vacation” (14.2%), “I don’t take phone calls during vacation no matter what” (11.8%), the percentage of office workers who don’t take the phone call from office immediately was much higher than otherwise.

As for a question whether there is any post-summer vacation syndrome, 37.4 percent answered, “I work better after taking a vacation.” But 37.0 percent said, “I don’t work well right after coming back from summer vacation” while 25.6 percent replied, “There is no difference before and after the vacation.”
