SEOUL, July 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Chinese tech giant Xiaomi Corp. on Thursday released its newest smartwatch and wireless earphones in South Korea, aiming to compete with Samsung Electronics Co.’s Galaxy Unpacked event that occurred the day before.
The Redmi Watch 3 and Redmi Buds 4 Active are priced at 104,800 won (US$81.94) and 19,800 won each.
The Redmi Watch 3 Active will sell for 44,800 won.
The Redmi Watch 3 features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display, enabling users to access various information at a single glance and easily control different apps.
On the other hand, the Redmi Watch 3 Active comes with a slightly larger 1.83-inch ultrawide display. It uses a 2.5D high-performance curved display, ensuring powerful anti-wear features.
As for the Redmi Buds 4 Active, they are equipped with an upgraded 12 mm dynamic driver, significantly improving the sound quality in both the lower and higher bandwidths through expert tuning by Xiaomi Acoustic Lab.
