SEOUL, Korea, Dec 06 (Korea Bizwire) – With smartphones becoming ubiquitous in our everyday life, people frequently face a dilemma of whether to give their smartphones to little children. For parents with toddlers and young kids full of curiosity, it’s impossible not to give them smartphones and let them play with them. A new app has been launched to address this quandary. YeaStudio, a software developer, said on December 5 that it has made available a free-of-charge smartphone application “Coloring Game.”
The app allows small children to color different images and solve quizzes. It is available in 18 different languages in both text and voice, including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Currently an average of 3,500 downloads are made daily, with the weekly growth rate of about 30 percent. For the past two months since launch, as many as 40,000 users from 150 countries across the world have downloaded the app without any marketing effort.
Choi Won-man, president of YeaStudio, said, “I began developing the coloring book program thinking that I want my kids to play games like this. I believe all parents around the world will think the same. That’s why we have made it available in 18 different languages.” The app is available on Google Play, SK Telecom T Store, and Samsung Apps.
