BOSEONG, Apr. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — The fifth King cherry blossom festival in Boseong attracted 10,000 tourists from April 10 to 14. The road to Daewon Temple in Boseong welcomed flower viewers with its more than 30-year-old cherry trees, and is on the list of Korea’s 100 most beautiful roads published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The King cherry trees were also adorned with boards on which poems were written, and tourists could enjoy the splendid scenery with a touch of literature. The festival also held traditional music performances, a Nanta performance by children, a poetry reading, a photography competition and a rice cake making event.
