SEOUL, Sept. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — Mercedes-Benz Korea is on track to expand non-face-to-face sales channels, starting from the sale of its certified used cars online.
The local unit of the German luxury carmaker opened its official online sales platform ‘Mercedes Online Shop’ on Wednesday and will gear up for full-scale operation of online sales starting from certified used cars.
At the new online shop, users can peruse the cars selling through the company’s 23 certified used car showrooms across the country.
After choosing a car to buy, users can request an estimate or have a consultation with a sales person. By placing a deposit of 1 million won (US$856) through the ‘Order Now’ function, users can reserve the car of their choice.
Thereafter, they need to visit the concerned certified used car showroom and complete the remaining procedures such as signing the official purchase contract and confirming payment of the outstanding balance.
