“As is applicable to other entertainment programs, it will be better, to my understanding, if we drop the program when the audience most loves it. I don’t want to direct the final episode when there is nothing but indifference or finger pointing left.”
“Although it was low in viewer ratings at the beginning, we have managed this program successfully due to the audience’s encouraging supports. The audience deserves the most credit for this celebratory 400th episode.”
“Infinite Challenge” Producer Kim Tae-ho
“The producing staff worked hard than we. I’d love to give the credit of each staff who sacrificed their time and efforts in the middle of constantly changing contexts at the expense of their sleep.”
Yoo Jae-suk
“At the outset, Noh Hong-chul held an image of taking leave of his senses, but now he turns to be calm. Although I could not be aware of any change from the other members, a large part of his unique “craziness” has disappeared. Certainly, Noh seems to have undergone the most notable change among us over the past years.”
Park Myeong-su
SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Korea Bizwire) – The real-variety TV program, “Infinite Challenge,” marks its 400th episode this October 18 in nine years since the year 2006. It is exceptional that the variety program has managed to air 400 episodes, proving it is Korea’s representative entertainment program.
This program has made a notable influence on all TV shows to the extent that the history of Korea’s entertainment programs is divided into the two periods: one is before “Infinite Challenge” and the other afterward. Taking the lead in Korea’s entertainment programs, it has created a social sensation. So, it is not too much to say that it has set a milestone in the history of entertainment TV programs, although the history is ongoing.

“Infinite Challenge” rolled out a new format and content every time. As 400 episodes for nine years were full of unique contents and projects, each character of the show has selected his unforgettable project. Yoo Jae-suk said, “Dance Sports,” the first long-term project, was his best, and Jeong Hyeong-don selected “An Ice Expedition in New Zealand,” which was a turning point of the program. Ha Ha was touched most when he watched the feature project of bobsleigh. Jeong Jun-ha and Noh Hong-chul’s favorite is the 400th special episode for which each pair spent 24 hours before its shooting.
All of the members and the head producer Kim Tae-ho held a press conference at the new MBC building in Sangam-dong of Seoul to commemorate its 400th episode. To the question of who has changed most since the first episode, every member pointed at Noh Hong-chul in unison.
Jeong Hyeong-don stated, “Now he weighs more than I, although he weighed 60 kilograms at first. I was oblivious to his change since he’s been always next to me. Come to think of it, it is he who has changed most.”
