BUSAN, June 10 (Korea Bizwire) — Air Busan Co., a budget carrier unit of Asiana Airlines Inc., is joining hands with local upcycling fashion brand Over Lab to come up with new products made from upcycled materials.
The company said Thursday it will begin selling slippers and travel pouches made from seat covers and paragliders online.
The new slippers were made with seat covers from a retired aircraft, while the new travel pouches were made with old paragliders collected by Over Lab.
Air Busan has been engaging in eco-friendly activities, including producing goods made with old luggage used by flight attendants.
