SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — An influential American consumer magazine listed a number of TVs made by LG Electronics Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. on the Best Big-Screen TV list.
U.S. Consumer Reports recommended 11 TVs with a 70-inch screen or larger, sorting them into categories of ‘top-performing’, ‘mid-priced’ and ‘lower-priced’ based on the product’s price and performance, of which six were Korean-made televisions.
In the top-performing category, OLED TVs were introduced.
Consumer Reports said that the 77-inch LG OLED TV (77C1) offered the best video quality and excellent HDR features overall.
The magazine also pointed out the TV’s reasonable price, starting at US$2,499 in the U.S.
Among LCD TVs, Consumer Reports picked Samsung’s 75-inch QLED TV (75Q80) for its satisfying video quality, excellent HDR features and great sound.
