SEOUL, May 23 (Korea Bizwire) — Lotte Department Store said Monda it will open a pop-up store showcasing a variety of merchandise from the National Museum of Korea.
The pop-up store will be located in one of the basement levels of the department store’s Myeongdong branch. It will offer approximately 200 different kinds of merchandise for sale until June 4.
Among the items available for purchase will be a miniature statue of Maitreya in meditation, which gained popularity after BTS member RM was seen with one.
Additionally, the store will feature the museum’s well-received exhibition program, A Room of Quiet Contemplation.
Furthermore, the cultural center at the Myeongdong branch will host special lectures every Thursday on how to appreciate artifact exhibitions.
