SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — CJ OnStyle announced Sunday that it will launch a new mobile live commerce broadcast infused with artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR), positioning immersive video content as a differentiator in an increasingly crowded e-commerce market.

The first installment, airing August 24, will spotlight the popular women’s underwear brand Verish, which has built a loyal following among women in their 20s and 30s. The broadcast will integrate AI-generated models, XR-driven visuals and generative AI drone footage, creating what the company calls an unprecedentedly immersive shopping experience.

Fashion brands worldwide are experimenting with AI to improve efficiency and scalability in design, photography and marketing. Earlier this year, CJ OnStyle staged the industry’s first AI fashion showcase, featuring virtual runways in Paris and New York. The Verish livestream builds on that experiment with more advanced techniques.

For the event, CJ OnStyle created three diverse AI characters to model Verish’s best-selling designs, simulating realistic fits across sizes and styling contexts. An XR-powered “media wall” will project dynamic backdrops — including auroras, night skies and lunar scenes — while generative AI drones provide cinematic footage, offering viewers a sensory-rich experience far beyond traditional livestream shopping.

The initiative is part of the company’s broader “AI Content Factory” project launched earlier this year to expand AI and XR content across categories from fashion to beauty, lifestyle and travel.

“The strength of CJ OnStyle’s live commerce lies not in price-driven sales but in immersive content that captivates viewers,” a company spokesperson said. “We will continue investing in R&D to push the boundaries of mobile live commerce and accelerate media content innovation.”
