SEOUL, Nov. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics on Wednesday unveiled the “LG MoodMate,” a multifunctional interior projector that combines a beam projector, ambient lighting, and high-quality Bluetooth speaker in a single device, expanding its lineup of lifestyle screens.
Starting November 6, the MoodMate will be sold exclusively through LG’s online brand shop, with an in-person experience available at “Ground 220,” LG’s customer experience space in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
The MoodMate features a round projector head mounted on a tall stand, capable of displaying images up to 120 inches wide. The head can tilt up to 105 degrees, allowing users to freely adjust the projection angle. It can also be used for “beamterieur” — projecting photos, art, or movie posters onto walls as part of interior décor.
The device doubles as a mood light with nine color options and five brightness levels, serving as a decorative piece. Its built-in Bluetooth speaker employs a passive radiator to enhance bass through air vibration.
Powered by LG’s proprietary webOS platform, the MoodMate gives users direct access to LG Channels, OTT streaming services, and games without requiring connection to an external device such as a smartphone or laptop.
