YONGIN, Aug. 17 (Korea Bizwire) – In a bid to improve local service, Volkswagen has opened a technical center in Yongin, Korea. The center is expected to raise service quality by delivering up-to-date technology from its headquarters in Germany, and helping with repairs requiring advanced capabilities. To train service engineers in Korea, the center will hold regular workshops and seminars.
In addition to repairs, test drives for new vehicles to be introduced in Korea will be offered at the technical center. A Volkswagen official said, “The technical center will act as a forward base to upgrade our service quality. By offering enhanced service, we hope be the preferred foreign vehicle brand in Korea.”
