SEOUL, Korea, Mar 5 (Korea Bizwire) – It’s a little bit annoying to receive and check text messages or Facebook alerts while driving and it can often cause a tragic accident. For those who want to check the message without being disrupted, getting a smartphone application reading the message out loud is the way to go.
DS International, a leading car audio maker in Korea with the JB.lap brand, has launched an app “BT Reader” through Google Play app market on March 3. The app reads SNS or SMS messages upon their arrival through its Bluetooth-equipped car audio.
BT Reader can read out not only SMS messages but also SNS or messenger services like KakaoTalk, KakaoStory, Facebook, Line, Band, My People, Nateon, Tik Tok, WhatsApp and Wechat. So far, it supports a largest collection of SNS services.
Not only short messages, it can also play rather long messages. It supports four languages including Korea, Chinese, English and Japanese. Also, it has a function to turn on or off for each SNS message and automatically adjusts volume down for music or radio that the drivers are listening to in order to transmit clearer voice of the message.
Currently, the app can be applied in car Bluetooth hands-free receiver “Cluster,” “Cluster Talk” and “Cluster Talk2.” But DS International would make it possible for every JB.lab brand car audio or audio and visual devices by upgrading their features in the first half of this year.
