SEOUL, Nov. 18 (Korea Bizwire) – Photographer David LaChapelle, best recognized for bringing celebrities into surrealistic photographs, is hosting a photo exhibition in Seoul four years after his last exhibit in Busan.
Titled David LaChapelle Inscape of Beauty, the exhibition will introduce some 180 of his earliest to most recent works.
LaChapelle gained recognition as a commercial photographer despite beginning his career with fine-art photography. Some of the celebrities he worked with include Michael Jackson, Madonna, Eminem, and Christina Aguilera.
About ten years ago, however, he found himself back in fine-art photography, conveying social messages through his works.
The exhibit will take place at the ARA Modern Art Museum from November 19 to February 26.
