SEOUL, Feb. 6 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics announced Monday that it had set a new monthly record by selling more than 10,000 units of its Styler, an ambitious garment care system, for the first time in January – which equates to selling roughly one unit every four minutes.
The Styler is a combination of a clothes steamer, sanitizer (removing 99.9 percent of fine dust and germs), dryer, and pants presser, and also has the capacity to dehumidify the surrounding environment. It was first launched in 2011, and has since been exported to a dozen countries.
LG’s Styler was also named the product of the year in 2016 by the monthly Architectural Record.
