SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Korea Bizwire) – AppShow Korea 2016 kicked off Wednesday for a three-day run at Seoul’s COEX, with some 112 app developers in attendance.
The annual event will provide an important promotion platform and business opportunities for developers and startups in a wide range of businesses, from fintech and smart devices to IoT and ICT technologies.
This year’s exhibition was highlighted by mobiles apps featuring the latest artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies.
“Mobile technology and its industry, alongside IoT, cloud computing, and big data, will be the core engine that drives the fourth industrial revolution,” said Vice Minister Choi Jae-yu of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. “Along with AI expertise, new technology will help maximize the efficiency of all our economic and social systems.”
