SEOUL, April 2 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean boy band Big Bang will go on a world concert tour starting in Seoul this month, its management agency said Thursday.
The band will put on some 70 concerts in 15 countries around the world, including the Americas, through next year before some 1.4 million fans, YG Entertainment said.
The tour is scheduled to begin at Seoul’s Olympic Park on April 25 and 26.
Roy Bennett, who has designed stages for concerts by world-renowned musicians such as the Scorpions, Prince, Paul McCartney, Beyonce and Lady Gaga, and Beyonce’s videographer Ed Burke will take part as co-creative directors, YG said.
Gil Smith II, a music director that has worked with Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and other global pop stars, will also join the tour, it said.
