SEOUL, July 8 (Korea Bizwire) – South Korean boy band BigBang was included on the Forbes’ list of the world’s 100 highest paid celebrities for this year.
The U.S. economic magazine unveiled this in its article titled “Bigbang Theory: How K-pop’s Top Act Earned $44 Million In A Year” on Wednesday (on local time).
It reported that the band took home US$44 million (51 billion won) in pretax earnings in 2015, more than the $33.5 million collected by Maroon 5, the highest-paid American male group.

The official Forbes Celebrity 100 list will be announced on July 12.
