SEOUL, July 6 (Korea Bizwire) — BMW Korea announced today the launch of the New X5, a premium mid-size sport-utility vehicle (SAV), and the New X6, a premium mid-size sport-utility coupe (SAC), in Korea.
The models come in four variants for the X5 and three variants for the X6. Equipped with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, except for plug-in hybrid models, they offer enhanced power performance and fuel efficiency.
The New X5 xDrive 40i and New X6 xDrive 40i feature inline six-cylinder engines with increased horsepower. The M60i boasts a powerful V8 engine. The X5 xDrive 50e is a plug-in hybrid with improved electrification technology.
Notable features include the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille and the BMW Curved Display. The high-performance models, New X5 M and New X6 M, will be available soon.
