DAEGU, May 9 (Korea Bizwire) – Daegu’s Yangnyeongsi (herbal medicine market) celebrated its 358th birthday with the ‘2016 Daegu Yangnyeongsi Herb Medicine Culture Festival’ from May 4 to 8. Herbal medicine still plays a big role in Korea despite prevalent Western medical practices.
There are several Yangnyeonsi across Korea. The one in Seoul is considered the most significant in both size and historic value.
