SEOUL, April 28 (Korea Bizwire) — As the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage on, various education courses offered at department store chain’s cultural centers are changing.
Shinsegae Department Store’s cultural center, Shinsegae Academy, plans to increase the number of one-on-one classes and other miniature courses by 20 percent this June.
In response to the pandemic, the center’s summer courses last year were reconstituted to allow less than 10 people for each cooking class.
Lotte Department Store is offering a series of ‘hybrid’ courses where participants can enjoy two courses at the same time.
These courses include learning how to draw landscapes onboard a yacht, and learning about how to make a healthy lunchbox after a pilates class.
The Hyundai Seoul’s cultural center also plans to limit the number of participants to between six and eight people for each class.
