SEOUL, South Korea, Oct 16 (Korea Bizwire) — It’s already mid-October and there have been unseasonably cold days. Maybe some single males are feeling colder because of the lack of female companions. But they must be aware that there are some things before trying to meet women.
According to iStyle 24 (www.istyle24.com), the Internet fashion shopping mall, based on a survey on 268 women for six days between October 7 and 11 about what kind of fashion their male partners should avoid wearing for first meeting, as many as 39 percent of women respondents said it was red skinny leather pants of the kind that Korean rapper G-Dragon wears on stage.
It was followed by tight leggings that Noh Hong-chul, Korea’s TV entertainer, likes to wear at 24 percent. The third on the list was Lee Soo-hyuk, the model and actor, who wore black tight leather pants at the Blue Carpet event at Busan International Film Festival at 19 percent.
Nonetheless, there are many young men who prefer tight pants. For example, the sales of slim-fit pants for men on iStyle 24 have increased 87 percent this year to date from the same period last year. Slim-fit pants used to be limited to highly fashionable men such as G-Dragon and Noh Hong-chul. But more and more men are showing preference to slim-fit clothing items such as jackets and T-shirts, as well as pants.
Jeon Ji-hye, a merchandiser at iStyle 24, said, “These days, there are so many men with skinny bodies buying slim-fit clothes. Sometimes slim-fit fashion is very appealing to women. But you should be careful not to wear tight leather pants if you can’t handle it.”
