Dry-Tooling Competition at Korea’s Famous Winter-Cold Waterfall Opens on July 12

CHEONGSONG, Jul. 7 (Korea Bizwire) — Korea’s 2015 National Dry-Tooling Competition will be held at Eoreumgol Valley in Cheongsong County in Gyeongsangbuk-do on July 12.

Dry-tooling experts will make a refreshing scene by climbing ice-cold waterfall rocks using only ice axes, crampons and safety ropes.

The competition will also hold challenges on artificial rock formations.

A Cheongsong County official said that the competition would also feature various non-expert events at the scene to provide a more engaging experience to visitors.
