SEOUL, Feb.17 (Korea Bizwire) – World renowned R&B singer Eric Benet will release an English version of “Did We Really Love”, the most popular song from the Korean group Brown Eyed Soul.
Mystic Entertainment commented that producer Park Gun-tae, who wrote “Did We Really Love”, made a pop remake of the song, and Eric Benet wrote English lyrics. The song will be released on February 22.
Eric Benet has been nominated for a Grammy award numerous times, and is also famous in Korea for his songs ‘Hurricane’ and ‘Still With You’.
Officials at Mystic Entertainment explain that producer Park had an idea to recreate “Did We Really Love” as a pop song. After consideration, he came up with the soulful singer Eric Benet, and as the singer agreed to carry out the project, the special remake of the song was made.
Park recently released the duet ‘Dream’ sung by Miss A’s Suzy and EXO’s Baekhyun. Park and Mystic Entertainment plan to continue their unique collaboration throughout the year.
