SEOUL & DAEGU, June 16 (Korea Bizwire) —Spanish football powerhouse FC Barcelona is set to visit South Korea this summer for the first time in 15 years as part of its official “FC Barcelona 2025 Asia Tour Edition.” The tour will feature friendly matches against K League clubs FC Seoul and Daegu FC, offering Korean fans a rare chance to see world-class players up close.

Organized by DDrive, the Asia tour will include matches in both South Korea and Japan. In Korea, Barcelona will face FC Seoul on July 31 at Seoul World Cup Stadium and take on Daegu FC on August 4 at Daegu Stadium.

The Seoul match will be co-hosted by DDrive and Genesis BBQ, while the Daegu game is a joint effort between DDrive and the city of Daegu.

DDrive confirmed that Barcelona will be traveling with its full squad, including top-tier international stars who captured global attention during the 2024–2025 season.

Tickets for both matches will go on exclusive sale via Interpark beginning June 23, with early access offered to fans in Seoul and Daegu.

“This is more than just a friendly series,” said Ham Seul, CEO of DDrive. “It’s a rare opportunity for Korean football fans to witness the brilliance of global stars firsthand and a valuable test for K League clubs to elevate their competitiveness through matches against one of the world’s top teams.”

Ham also emphasized the broader significance of the tour, noting that it will generate synergy across South Korea’s sports, tourism, and media industries while contributing to the national economy.

He added that DDrive aims to establish this tour as a premier global sports event through continued collaboration with FC Barcelona and the broader Spanish football community.
