POCHEON, Apr. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea National Arboretum in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will be opening Gwangneung forest to the public free-of-charge on May 5.
Celebrating Children’s Day, the arboretum decided to open the forest despite the day being Sunday, when the forest is usually closed for preservation.
Visitors will be able to enjoy 22 exhibition halls, the forest museum and greenhouses with commentary from guides.
Visitors should pre-register no later than May 4 via the Korea National Arboretum website (www.kna.go.kr).
Visitors must accompany a pre-school child, and the tickets will be distributed to 3,000 people on a first come, first serve basis.
