SEOUL, Oct. 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Genesis, the luxury vehicle division of Hyundai Motor Group, revealed Black Editions of its premium large SUVs, the Genesis GV80 and GV80 Coupe, on October 2.
The GV80 Black is the brand’s second all-black model following the G90 Black. Genesis states that these new editions maximize luxury by applying black finishes to both exterior and interior details, along with exclusive materials and specifications.
The exterior of the GV80 Black is characterized by an all-black treatment of its various elements, which Genesis claims accentuates the vehicle’s unique body lines and shapes.
The radiator grille, bumper garnish, and front emblem are finished in black, as are less noticeable components like the side bezels inside the headlamps.
Standard features include glossy black 22-inch wheels and black-exclusive floating wheel covers. The tailgate sports only the Genesis lettering emblem in a dark metallic finish.
Inside the vehicle, the black theme continues, with Genesis asserting that even small elements in black harmonize with exclusive interior materials to create a premium ambiance.
The GV80 Black features exclusive real wood garnishes, leather seats, seat quilting and piping, and floor mats.
A Genesis representative stated, “The Genesis Black models showcase the vehicle’s exterior and interior design in its purest form, without superfluous embellishments.”
The spokesperson added, “As top-tier models in the Genesis lineup, we’ve confidently implemented the black theme while preserving Genesis-specific details.”
Genesis will be showcasing the GV80 Black and GV80 Coupe Black at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) from October 2 to 11 in Haeundae District, Busan.
