SEOUL, Oct. 14 (Korea Bizwire) – Funding of 32.7 billion won will be offered by the government to develop core technology in the bio, metallic material and chemical processing fields.
The Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) announced that it will support new projects together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and confirmed the launch of the seventh iteration of the Core Technology Development Business.
A total of 32 projects will be supported by the funding, with 4.7 billion won going to five creative projects, including the bio sector, and 18 billion won allocated to 18 projects related to materials and component businesses.
The period of support will vary from one year to five years depending on the characteristics of the project. Applications for funding can be submitted through the KEIT homepage (www.keit.re.kr) or the announcement page (itech.keit.re.kr).
